Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MockRoute ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MockRoute provides instant HTTP mock endpoint infrastructure for API development and testing. You can create endpoints, define mocking rules, inspect request logs, and optionally forward requests to real backends.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use MockRoute to:

  • Transmit malware, spam, or malicious content
  • Conduct phishing, fraud, or impersonation attacks
  • Violate applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse infrastructure
  • Store sensitive personal data (PII, payment card numbers, health records)

5. Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis — contact billing@mockroute.app.

6. Intellectual Property

The MockRoute name, logo, and platform code are owned by MockRoute. You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. MockRoute shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
